Best Practice Recommendations
Our Preventative Maintenance Service includes routine inspections of your shopping cart fleet to assess its condition, age, and inventory counts. Reports from these inspections empower you to make informed decisions about managing your fleet, which is crucial in shaping your brand image.
We simplify the retrieval of carts from stores through two primary methods: re-fleet operations (stores replacing an existing fleet) and the collection of carts identified during our Preventative Maintenance evaluations as falling below brand standards. We then manage the removal of carts, ensuring minimal disruption to retail operations, and can provide loaner carts if needed.
When your carts arrive at a Peggs facility, identification and assessment are the first and most critical steps. We sort and quantify each cart to provide accurate data, enabling informed decisions about your fleet. Carts are then categorized by make, model, and condition: Obsolete Models, Pool-Ready Carts, and Remanufacturing Candidates.
Our remanufacturing and reconditioning services ensure your shopping carts meet ASTM safety standards and are safe for use. Both services include power washing, rust removal, and necessary repairs. Remanufacturing is our most comprehensive option, and reconditioning is a lighter service designed to address wear and tear.
Whether you need assets for seasonal demand or an immediate requirement, we can tailor a program to ensure your refurbished carts are redeployed when you need them—hand-delivered directly to the front of your store.
